LandscapeIQ ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Arophia Technologies Inc., based in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using the Service, including:

• Account information — name, email address, and password when you register
• Company information — business name, address, phone number, HST/GST number, and logo
• Client information — names, contact details, and addresses of your clients
• Job and project data — quotes, invoices, job photos, and crew records you create in the app
• Payment information — processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your card details
• Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for crash reporting and bug fixes

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Send transactional emails such as crew invitations and invoice notifications
• Respond to support requests and bug reports
• Monitor app performance and fix crashes via Sentry
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

All data is stored on servers located in the United States (Supabase infrastructure). By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

4. Portfolio Photos

If you choose to publish job photos to your public portfolio page (landscapeiq.ca/portfolio/[your-slug]), those photos will be publicly accessible on the internet. You can remove photos from your portfolio at any time through the app. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to publish any photos you share.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Supabase — database and file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Sentry — crash reporting and error monitoring
• Google Places API — address autocomplete
• OpenWeather API — weather data for job planning

Each third party has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

As a Canadian user, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent to certain uses of your data
• Request deletion of your account and data

The Service is intended for use by adults operating landscaping and hardscape businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
